At The Injury Advocates, we define our role with a broader understanding of advocacy, akin to the original Greek term for “counsel for the defense.” Our mission transcends traditional boundaries as we position ourselves as essential partners to the government. We are the ones who can be called alongside to help create a better and fair system.
Our broader definition of advocate is integral to ensuring the sustainability of the system for the betterment of society. We aim to facilitate productive returns to work and to ensure that those who deserve benefits and compensation receive them without becoming reliant on social services, thereby preventing undue burden on public resources.

Mission & Vision
Statement
The Injury Advocates is dedicated to fostering a sustainable, fair, and efficient auto insurance system that minimizes red tape and administrative complexity. Our mission is to ensure that care and justice are swift, valuable, and satisfying for all individuals seeking both. We are committed to creating a lean and efficient process that serves all parties, enabling true recovery and ensuring accountability when necessary. We recognize that a sustainable insurance framework must operate as a public trust, given that insurance is a mandatory product in Ontario.
Our vision is a reformed auto insurance framework that is easy to navigate, equitable, and responsive to the needs of all stakeholders.
We strive for a system that enhances access to care, justice, and recovery, and eliminates the burdens of administrative complexity. By advocating for streamlined processes and recognizing the public trust nature of mandatory insurance, we aim to build a system that upholds the highest standards of fairness, efficiency, and accountability.

Sustainability
We understand the importance of a sustainable insurance framework for the future. This sustainability must be based on the premise that mandatory insurance acts as a public trust, with all the responsibilities that entails. We advocate for a system that manages operations in a lean manner to avoid offloading inefficiencies to consumers. Regulators must ensure that services are delivered efficiently, preventing unnecessary costs from being passed onto consumers.
We acknowledge that the ability to do business and provide insurance in Ontario is due to a framework created by the people through the government.
As such, insurers have a duty to manage their operations efficiently to avoid increasing premium costs and shifting costs to society. A sustainable product means insurers can invest their profits freely, but they must also manage the product and delivery systems effectively. Inefficiencies, delays, red tape, and recovery failures harm all participants and ultimately increase societal costs for accident victims.
